A 3D model is built from photos and integrated into a web page for viewing. Java based technology used for web display of 3D model (flash or flash/java combination also possible depending on objectives). For smaller products the easiest work-flow is to ship the object for photographing. Larger objects maybe photographed by the client and instruction will be provided, however, the quality of the resulting 3D model is dependent on the location and quality of the input photos. Some limited modeling and correction of the texture can be done to insure high quality results.
In general this technology is best for faster connection speeds, the sample on the left is 384 kb in size. Size and quality optimizations can be done depending on needs.
