3D Booklet

Available on AppUp

Contains 21 pages of 3D fun – this booklet shows planes, boats, toys and other objects colored by your design. Select from a variety of colors or make your own to paint the objects – your changes will be saved. Press the “eye” icon to see the pages displayed as a 3D object. Click and drag to rotate the object around, or move the object. Fun for all ages but requires some skill for coloring the more detailed pages. Hint: zoom in on the smaller parts and rotate them to color more easily.

Manual

There are two main modes of operation in the book.  The program starts in the “Drawing and Coloring” mode where you can apply colors to each part of the picture. Once you’re done coloring, press the eye button for the “Viewing in 3D” mode to see the results.  In this mode you can rotate, move, zoom or reset the picture so that it goes back to the original orientation.  Some of the pages will need to be rotated to color parts of the objects facing away from you initially.  It may be difficult to color some parts of the objects at first – hint: move and zoom in to the objects for better control of where you want to place the colors.

The program saves all the color changes in a file in the application data directory when you exit it.  If it can’t find the file it will create a new blank file.  You could backup or copy this file to a new computer if you want to save your color changes or share them with someone else.

The original “3DBooklet.air” file used in the installation is not required after the installation; however it can be used to uninstall the application if you run it again.  The application may also be removed using “Add/Remove Programs” located under the control panel in a Windows machine.  By default the small color settings file will remain in the applications data directory and will need to be removed by hand if this is an issue.

I have made every effort to insure that this program is free of harmful computer code such as bugs, viruses or trojans.  It should install with “Light Splasher Graphics” as the verified publisher to insure that other parties have not made modifications.  However, I am not personally liable for any problems that may result from the use or installation of this program.  I cannot test on every possible configuration or go through every line of code in the libraries that support this program so please plan accordingly.

Credits

As with any project of this nature, we stand on the shoulders of giants, reach up, paint a daisy and call it our own.  Although I’m a one-developer team, I cannot begin to give proper credit to the host of all the people who have indirectly contributed to this program – you have my gratitude.  Most of all I would like to thank my family for putting up with my many long days of business planning, programming, designing, missed play time and false starts.
